BOLONG, This band was born in Jakarta - Indonesia at 1997. This band was named PREMATURE, but has been separated cuz has no match with their drummer. now, this band was formed with Edy on bass, Egy on guitar n vocals, and Silo on drum. This name was taken cuz at the jam session, Silo has been broken up drum snare. So their agreed to take the name ( BOLONG ).

with the influence of Silverchair, Nirvana, and Ramones, they has been performed in many gigz....and they wanna played their own songs..so they realized their dreams with the album which is titled EXPRESSION, which become their first album.

in 2001, edy ( bassist ), resigned from this band cuz he has no match again with this band. his position was changed by Tono, who has been the manager of this band before. with this form, they came to explore the music of bolong til they have their own music ( PunkGrunge ). their music can be seen on the song titled 'Stupid People'.

on this year ( 2003), they try to release their second album, with their own music, PUNK GRUNGE..

Tanggal 12 Oktober 2003 nanti BOLONG akan main di Cikupa - Tangerang. Pihak management sedang konfirmasi ke anak2 Cikupa, tunggu aja berita selanjutnya dini. OK !.

Telah beredar kompilasi yang bertajuk FREE STYLE 4 "when the race is over..." berisi 26 band Rilisan dari NOLABEL RECORDS. Dalam album kompilasi tsb BOLONG termasuk didalamnya dengan lagu 'Destroying'. Silahkan segera dapatkan album kompilasi tersebut di distro underground kesayangan anda.
